Wichita: “Chill the Charges” free popsicle truck

One Nation, Overcharged’s Chill the Charges truck comes to town, offering free popsicles and encouraging people to speak out at one of Wichita’s most visited parks.

This event is part of the national One Nation, Overcharged campaign. Nearly everyone agrees: health care costs way too much. We are working together toward a health care system that everyone can access, regardless of race, income level, or ZIP code.

Manhattan: “Mapping the Gap” art Reception

Last summer we traveled across Kansas to gather stories from people navigating our health care system. Those lived experiences have now been transformed into “Mapping the Gap,” a powerful, collaborative textile art piece created with Haysville artist Malissa Long.

Join us at the Manhattan Public Library for a reception to celebrate the art display. We will have refreshments and Alliance staff will be on hand to talk more about the piece.
